CREST , an associated partner in an Indo-European mobility programme initiated by Swedish South Asian Studies Network (SASNET) has accepted two interns from Lund University , Sweden , as a part of fieldwork for their graduate thesis. Ms. Emelie Rohne and Ms. Lizzie Sagrelius, undergoing Bachelor of Science Programme in Development Studies (BIDS) at Lund University, will be attached to CREST from January – March 2012. While interning with CREST Lizzie Sagrelius will work on a project entitled ”Access and benefits sharing” and Emelie Rohne will study about the role of farmers in the Kerala model development
CREST takes interns from reputed institution from India and abroad for short term assignments lasting up to four months to assist the faculty in student counseling, small group tutorials, and providing communication skills.
Centre for Research & Education for Social Transformation (CREST) is an autonomous institution involved with research and educational programmes that are relevant for the marginalized communities of India. The Centre is taking a women intern for a period of 3-4 months, starting from March 2020. The intern will be working with a group of 40 graduates, mostly girls, from Dalit/Adivasi and minority communities of Kerala who are undergoing Post Graduate Certificate Course for Professional Development at CREST.
Internship at CREST provides a unique opportunity to outstanding young scholars interested developing communities of India, particularly Kerala. International /local travel expenses should be met by the candidate. The Intern will be based in Calicut, Kerala. Free accommodation will be provided to the intern. A pocket money of INR 12000 (Approximately 165 USD) towards their expenses for food which is available at a very subsidized rate at the student hostel.
